Matt Francis has put pen to paper and will be back with the GMB Nottingham Panthers for a third season when the new campaign gets underway.
The 27 year old has had over a point a game in his two years with the club and helped Panthers to five trophies, not least last season's Grand Slam success.
Head coach Corey Neilson said of the latest signing : "There's not a lot to say really. He is a great guy and a key signing, his work on the penalty kill unit was second to none last season, we know we will take penalties because of the way we play and entertain but with guys like Franny out there it is less of a problem. I'm pleased to have him back and the core of returning players is looking strong with Killer, Benny, Weaves, Clarkey, Lacho, and others hopefully not far away.
"This is good news."
And Franny himself added: "What is there to say, it's a fabulous club, a great place and I've had so much success with the Panthers. This wasn't a difficult decision to make."
