COUNTDOWN : fans snap up their "colours" with pride

Fans were queuing to buy this season's replica shirts before the shop at the arens opened yesterday afternoon and by the time the open training session finished in the evening more than 210 shirts had already been snatched up by fans, including the first sale of the season, pictured above.

Replica shirts in white and black uniforms are available from the shop this season.

The special third "xXx" Thirty-Ten Anniversary shirts, marking thirty seasons since the club was reformed and ten years in the arena have only been produced in a limited playing only gold strip. These are likely to be auctioned off later in the year, but first they will be worn 'into battle' by the new-look GMB Panthers who start their Elite campaign at home to Belfast on Saturday in what promises to be an explosive clash. The game is sponsored by Red Box Recorders.
