Dundee Stars
Match Report

Nottingham Panthers secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Dundee Stars for a second successive four-point weekend.
A short-benched Panthers were once again without Matt Alfaro, Tim Doherty, Cooper Zech and Luca Sheldon because of injury.
Nottingham-born Zack Brown backed-up Ryan Bednard between the pipes for a second successive night.
Herr on target in even first period
Panthers took an early lead when Mitch Fossier set-up Sam Herr whose feed towards net deflected in off a Stars defenceman (2:08) for the Teddy Bear Toss goal which saw thousands of soft toys rain down on the Motorpoint Arena ice.
Bednard made a superb save to deny Jonathan McBean on a breakaway, but could do nothing about the Stars forward scoring the equaliser with a pinpoint shot into the top left-hand corner on the powerplay (5:05).
Herr scores powerplay equaliser for his second of the night
After a chance for the Panthers through Matt Spencer's shot from the blueline early in the second period, Drydn Dow put Dundee ahead when he bundled home a rebound (26:37).
Panthers had three powerplays in succession and on the third, Fossier saw his shot saved before Herr pounced to score from close-range for his second of the night (38:43).
Roy buries superb game-winner
Sabol made a great save to deny Fossier before Quinn Wichers was thrown-out for cross-checking.
Hugo Roy scored his 10th goal of the season as he cut inside from the left and fired across Sabol to put Panthers ahead (50:38).
Stars lifted Sabol for an extra skater in the final 90 seconds, but Panthers held firm for another four-point weekend following last night's huge 4-2 win at Sheffield Steelers.
