ANDERSON RETURNS FOR SECOND SEASON
The Nottingham Panthers forward Stephen Anderson has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 28-year-old scored 17 goals and contributed 15 assists for 32 points last season.
Anderson arrived in Nottingham ahead of the 2022-23 campaign on the back of four successful seasons in the USports league where he scored 130 points (52+78) in 132 matches.
The Canadian-born forward then spent two seasons in Europe, playing for DVTK Jegesmedvék in Slovakia and Aalborg Pirates in Denmark.
"I'm very excited to be back in Nottingham for another year," said Anderson. "The on-ice success wasn't where the fans, players or anyone wanted it last year.
"What is bringing me back is the amazing fan support, the rink and the city - they are all spectacular. I want to come back and be part of a team that turns this thing around."
Head Coach, Jonathan Paredes, said: "Stephen is a versatile player that can play up and down the line-up .
"He grew in the second half of last season and he will be an important player for us next season."
