🎟 NEXT AT HOME: SAT 15TH FEB (7PM) v COVENTRY - BUY TICKETS 🎟
Nottingham Panthers face Belfast Giants in Northern Ireland this evening in the Challenge Cup semi-final first leg (7pm face-off).
Panthers flew to Belfast yesterday and will skate at the SSE Arena this morning ahead of the big game.
In the other two-legged semi-final, Sheffield Steelers lead Cardiff Devils 5-3 from the first leg with the second leg in Wales tonight.
The second leg between Panthers and Giants takes place in Nottingham on Wednesday 26th February (7:30pm) and tickets are on sale now.
They start from as little as £9 for adults and can be purchased by clicking here.
Panthers defenceman, Zsombor Garát, said: "We are excited for this series and you can tell that in the (locker) room.
"We have to be smart with game management as the result over two legs will be combined. We have to be mentally and physically prepared, but we are ready to do that."
The locker room corridor at the Motorpoint Arena is full of framed photos of previous trophy wins and Garát says this current Panthers team is aiming to create their own special memories.
"Walking in the locker room we want to see ourselves up there," continued Garát.
"Hopefully one, two or, who knows, maybe three pictures and that's the goal for the season."
