HUGE WEEK FOR PANTHERS IN TITLE CHASE

It's the biggest weekend of the season and the Nottingham Panthers are fine-tuning preparations ahead of the two massive games.
The Elite League title race is going down to the wire as Panthers, Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers have a three-way battle for the championship.
After having Monday off, Panthers were back in training yesterday ahead of back-to-back games against the Giants.
On the ice, the players were put through their paces by Head Coach Danny Stewart and Assistant Coach Linton Grant.
Off the ice, it was a busy day with BBC East Midlands in the dressing room to film interviews for a mini two-part series to be aired soon.
Equipment Manager Mitch Bowler and Lead Sport Therapist Laura-Jo Bowler sat down to chat with the BBC, as did Head Coach Danny Stewart.
CEO Omar Pacha will be interviewed tomorrow (Thursday) as well as some of the players.
Title race going down to the wire
The final weekend fixtures are as follows....
Saturday 5th April
Belfast Giants v Nottingham Panthers (7pm)
Sheffield Steelers v Cardiff Devils (7pm)
Sunday 6th April
Nottingham Panthers v Belfast Giants (5:30pm)
Coventry Blaze v Sheffield Steelers (5:30pm)
Giants are currently top of the table on 76 points with Sheffield second on 75 points and Panthers third with 72 points.
Panthers can win the Elite League title if they beat Belfast twice in regulation-time over the weekend and Sheffield are beaten by both Cardiff and Coventry in regulation-time.
Two regulation-time wins would see Panthers and Giants end level on 76 points. Nottingham would have more wins in regulation (Panthers 32, Giants 31), so Danny Stewart's side would win the title in this scenario.
Sunday is a sell-out
The visit of Belfast on Sunday (6th April) - a game sponsored by Karen Burgin Ltd - is already a sell-out (5:30pm face-off).
Thank you #PanthersNation for your outstanding backing throughout this memorable campaign.
If you missed out on tickets, it will be shown live on a Panthers TV webcast.
Playoffs are just around the corner
Tickets are also on sale for our playoff quarter-final at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday 13th April (5pm face-off).
Our opponents won't be known until the end of the regular season and are determined by the standings in the Elite League table.
This game is proving very popular too with the bowl already more than two-thirds full with over a week to go until the game.
Playoffs is one of the best times of the year so secure your seats to the action now!
