Luke Ferrara missed out because of injury and GB Under-20 international Jack Hopkins was icing for Milton Keynes in the NIHL.
Panthers edge five-goal first period
The hosts took the lead on the powerplay as Gabriel Chabot received the puck down low and turned on the spot to fire in the opener (2:37).
Mike Hammond fed Brady who cut inside from the left to equalise (8:46), before three goals in 57 seconds saw the Panthers take a 3-2 advantage.
Steven McParland converted a two-on-one break for the Clan (10:05), while Brady and Stephen Anderson combined for Mike Hammond's wrist-shot 14 seconds later (10:19).
Levin then put Panthers ahead for the first time as scored from the right circle on the powerplay (11:02).
Anderson and Izacky on target but Clan level at second intermission
Brady hit the pipes early in the second period while at the other end, Jones made two saves in quick succession from Gary Haden.
Glasgow turned the game around as McParland buried Haden's feed from behind the net (26:02) and 68 seconds later, Mitch Jones fired through traffic for a 4-3 Clan lead (27:10).
Archie Hazeldine and Brady set-up Anderson who delayed his shot and pulled Ty Taylor out of position to equalise (29:20), but Clan went ahead again through Stephen Dixon's redirect on the powerplay (31:44).
Nottingham were level by the second intermission as Jakub Izacky created room in the offensive zone to fire past Taylor from the high slot (37:27).
Summers, Levin and Izacky secure thrilling victory
Backhand passes from Tanner Sorenson and Jeremy Welsh set-up Kelly Summers to slot in Nottingham's sixth of the night (44:00).
Levin scored his second when he cut across from the right, delaying his shot as he waited for Taylor to go down before lifting the puck into the back of the net (48:16).
Glasgow lifted Taylor for the extra skater and Izacky skated round the back of the net before slotting home his second of the night (58:18).
Panthers are straight back into action tomorrow with a roadtrip to the Skydome Arena to take-on Coventry Blaze (5:30pm).
