STARS ALIGN AS PANTHERS VAULT IS UNLOCKED AT £4,500
There was wonderful drama last night at the Motorpoint Arena as the Interseal Panthers Vault was finally unlocked with £4,500 inside.
Not since last year's Adam Johnson Memorial Game had the safe been unlocked, but yesterday Siobhan, Andy, Darcey and Taylor cracked the code with the selection of Reid Stefanson.
It is the biggest cash prize ever given away at the Panthers and if you believe in stars aligning, how's this for a backstory.
It was the second time in three matches that they had the winning ticket after incorrectly choosing Ollie Betteridge last Saturday against Coventry Blaze.
They chose Stefanson who had scored the goal that gave Panthers a 7-2 lead going into the second intermission.
The number that cracked into the safe was the jerseys of two of our retired jerseys - Paul Adey and Corey Neilson - and in the code of 2277 you can clearly make out the end of second period 7-2 scoreline!
The final score was 7-4 which equals 11 and 11 years ago last night, Siobhan and Andy got engaged. What a way to celebrate your 11-year engagement anniversary!
And if all that wasn't enough, their win came on the eve of six planets and the moon aligning for the first time in over 100 years.

Today's date is the 25th January and 2+5=7. There are a lot sevens in the past two sentences which equal the amount of goals we scored last night!
Have we gone a bit far? Maybe! But it really was a special moment and from everyone at the Panthers, congratulations to Andy, Siobhan, Darcey and Taylor.
Stefanson said: "I think as part of the deal I am looking for a 20 per cent cut.
"But joking aside, I am glad to have helped someone win a load of cash."
