STORM AT HOME FOR PANTHERS ON WEDNESDAY

Nottingham Panthers return to action with another huge night on Wednesday (26th March) as Manchester Storm visit the Motorpoint Arena (7:30pm).

The game is sponsored by Karen Burgin Ltd and there's two vital Elite League points on the line in the battle at the top and bottom of the standings.

Following the weekend action, just three points separate the top three sides in the table.

Belfast Giants lead the way on 72 points with Sheffield Steelers second on 71 points and Panthers third on 70 points.

Manchester are currently outside the playoffs but have their sights set on Dundee Stars who currently sit eighth in the table.

The Storm's stunning 6-0 victory over Cardiff Devils moved them to within four points of the top eight with four games remaining.

Panthers won 3-0 on Saturday night on the road at Glasow Clan, led by a 36-shutout by netminder Jason Grande.

Sam Herr gave Panthers a first-period lead on the powerlay and Tim Doherty made 2-0 late in the third.

Mitch Fossier secured the points - and another impressive road trip by the Panthers - with an empty-net goal.
