Nottingham Panthers secured a four-point weekend with a 4-0 victory on the road at Manchester Storm in the Elite League.
Netminder Jason Grande made 27 saves to secure his first shutout for the club with another impressive performance.
Panthers remained without netminder Ryan Bednard and defenceman Quinn Wichers for the trip to Altrincham.
After Tyler Hinam hit the pipes for the Storm inside the opening minute, Panthers scored two goals in 17 seconds to take a two-goal lead to the first intermission.
Matt Alfaro won the face-off and fed Didrik Henbrant who buried his own rebound past David Tendeck (9:26), before the Swedish forward's clever no-look pass found Tim Doherty to score from close range (9:43).
Panthers continued to dominate with chances for Henbrant, Zsombor Garát and Matt Spencer in the second period and at the other end, Grande made a good save to deny Alexis D'Aoust.
Alfaro and Doherty combined to set-up Henbrant for his second of the night (37:02) and Jaakko Niskala made it 4-0 with a low wrist-shot (39:18).
Mitch Fossier and Cooper Zech had chances early in the third period, while Sam Herr and Hugo Roy went close on the powerplay.
Grande made a superb save to deny Ryan Hughes from close range on way to a very impressive shutout.
Clan next at home for Panthers
Panthers travel to Cardiff Devils on Saturday 1st February and Dundee Stars on Saturday 8th February, before returning the Motorpoint Arena the following day.
Glasgow Clan make the trip to Lower Parliament Street on Sunday 9th February (4pm face-off).
