It's a sold-out Motorpoint Arena tonight as Nottingham Panthers host Sheffield Steelers in the Elite League (7pm face-off).

The game - which is sponsored by GVL Recovery - has captured the imagination in Nottingham and Sheffield with tickets selling-out as early as last weekend.

It's a huge clash in the battle for league points and victory for the Panthers would move us above the Steelers into second place in the standings.

Panthers currently have 59 points in third place with Sheffield on 60 points and leaders Belfast Giants on 64 points.

The race for the league title is going to the wire with Cardiff Devils, who Panthers play in Wales tomorrow, also in contention.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Everyone is excited about this weekend and the boys know exactly what is means to everyone.

"Sheffield are a quality team with quality all over the ice so, as ever, we know we will have to be at our best.

"The support the team gets from the fans is just incredible and we are looking forward to playing in a sold-out arena again."

Pre-Game Show in Saltbox from 5:15pm
It's an International Women's Day special for the Panthers Pre-Game Show, which takes place upstairs in Saltbox in the Panthers Lair from 5:15pm.

Hear from three women who are vital in the running of the club; host Sam Hurst, Lead Sports Therapist Laura-Jo Bowler and Social Media Manager Sophie Rouse.

Take a visit to Pantherland
Panthersland - which is located just outside the arena on Bolero Square - is open today.

There's a huge range of Panthers merchandise for young and old and it's well worth a visit on your way into the rink.

Panthers Vault up to £2,200
The Panthers Vault - in association with Interseal Fire Protection - is now a huge £2,200 after the vault remained firmly locked following another incorrect guess on Saturday night. Tickets cost just £1 and if yours is drawn out of the hat, you go on the ice with DJ Ken Feast to try to win the money inside the vault in the second intermission. Choose one of the players from the Panthers roster shown on the jumbotron to reveal a four-digit code and see if it unlocks the vault.

Whoever goes rinkside won't be leaving empty-handed whether they crack the code or not, with two tickets for an arena show on offer at each home game. The tickets are kindly donated by the arena's main sponsor, Motorpoint. Dare you give up the chance to go for the money to open the Mystery Box? What's inside? Nobody knows!

Chuck-a-Puck
Chuck-a-Puck - sponsored by Motorpoint - is great fun for all the family. It takes place in the second intermission and the winner is the person who lands their puck closest to Paws at centre-ice. The winner gets a photo with their favourite player at the end of the game and a signed puck.

There's a bonus prize too! A remote control car drives around the centre-circle. If your puck lands inside the cockpit of the car, you have a chance to win the bonus prize of two tickets to an event at the Motorpoint Arena. Pucks cost £1 each and are on sale from sellers around the rink.
