ANDERSON: WE ARE DETERMINED TO END RUN OF DEFEATS

The Nottingham Panthers forward Stephen Anderson says the players are united and determined to end the recent run of defeats.
The Panthers host Guildford Flames on Saturday at the Motorpoint Arena (7pm face-off) in a game sponsored by Interseal, before travelling to Scotland to face Fife Flyers on Sunday.
Anderson said: "I think a few guys, me included, are just gripping the sticks a little too tight and over-thinking things.
"I think we have to get back to basics and focus on good defensive play - and really finishing our chances around the net.
"We are right there. We just have to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and work ourselves out of this."
Panthers beat Guildford 3-0 the last time the two sides met in Nottingham in December and Anderson feels this result was a blueprint of how the team can be successful.
"Looking back to that game, I think we played it very simple," continued Anderson.
"We were structured around the net, finished our chances and we need to go back to that.
"It's no fun losing but we're not hiding from that. Two good strong games this weekend and we can really get going with this season.
"The support from the fans has been unbelievable. We have to give them better performances.
"The guys in this room, me included, have to give them something to cheer about."
