Nottingham Panthers are straight back into action on Friday with the visit of Guildford Flames to the Motorpoint Arena (7:30pm face-off).

The game - which is sponsored by 2Fawcett - is for two vital Elite League points and victory for Panthers would see us move up to third in the standings.

Danny Stewart's side currently sit fourth in the table, a point behind third-placed Sheffield Steelers and eight points behind leaders Belfast Giants who won 5-2 on the road at Guildford tonight.

The last time the Flames visited the Motorpoint Arena, Panthers came from 4-2 down to win 6-4 with four goals in six third-period minutes.

Panthers go into the game on the back of tonight's huge 5-1 victory over Glasgow Clan in the Challenge Cup Elimination Game which secured a place in the semi-finals.
