The Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Brady spoke with Panthers Radio about his late six-on-five goal on Sunday to help pave the way for a dramatic penalty-shot win in Guildford.

After the Flames went ahead thanks to a Daniel Tedesco goal, Mike Hammond and Tanner Sorenson scored to put Panthers into a 2-1 lead.

Tesesco quickly got his second to equalise before Brett Ferguson's goal with just over 10 minutes remaining in the third period looked to have won the game for Guildford.

But Panthers Head Coach Corey Neilson lifted netminder Alex Dubeau for an extra skater and the set-play worked as Brady fired in the equaliser.

After no goals in overtime, Niko Lahtinen scored in the sudden-death penalty shootout to secure the extra point and a 4-3 victory for the Panthers.

"It was a big moment six-on-five," said Brady. "Myerzy (Matthew Myers) snapped the draw back and we got it set-up.

"Levy (David Levin) threw the puck to the slot and I just tried to get the puck to the net as quick as I could.

"There's an extra buzz when you score six-on-five. There's a lot of guys in the zone so it does get a little chaotic.

"You just have to be simple with it, put pucks to the net and have bodies there, but it was nice to get rewarded six-on-five."

Panthers have a two-game Scotland roadtrip this weekend with games in Fife on Saturday and Dundee on Sunday.
