The Nottingham Panthers players took to the ice for the first time yesterday as training camp got under way, led by Head Coach Gary Graham.

Daily sessions will follow throughout the week - including Friday's open training session - as Panthers get ready for their first pre-season game against rivals Sheffield Steelers on Saturday.

Forward Adam Brady, who scored 60 points (25+35) in 54 games for Manchester Storm last season, said: "It was good. It was a lot of fun to get out there with the guys for the first time.

“I’ve been working out and skating all summer just to get ready for training camp, so it’s good to get going.

“The older guys you can tell have a good command of the locker room.

"It seems like we have a really good group here, so I’m excited.”

You can see Brady take to the ice in Panthers colours for the first time on Saturday as Sheffield Steelers visit the Motorpoint Arena in the GM the GM Memorial Trophy (7pm).

Saturday 3rd September (7pm) is Aladdin Cup action against Cardiff Devils and the Premier Sports Elite League season begins with Guildford Flames coming to Nottingham on Saturday 10th September (7pm).
