The Nottingham Panthers would like to thank everybody who took part in Chuck-a-Puck on Saturday to raise money for our former netminder Craig Kowalski and his family who lost their home to Hurricane Ian in the USA.

Chuck-a-Puck raised a superb £1,080 with people not only buying pucks, but throwing in extra money too. Your generosity was remarkable.

On the ice, K-Wall was a firm fans' favourite and back-stopped Panthers to nine titles between 2010 and 2015, including the Elite League title in March 2013.

K-Wall was also a superb ambassador for the club away from the rink and made regular appearances in the local community.

Kowalski said: "On behalf of my family I'd like to thank the Panthers organisation for this gesture and to the amazing supporters for buying so many pucks for Chuck-a-Puck.

"My time in Nottingham were some of the best years of my career and I will never forget them, or the bond I made with supporters.

"Thank you again to everyone. It means so much to us all."

Panthers CEO, Omar Pacha, said: "When we heard about what had happened, we wanted to do something to help Craig and his family.

"K-Wall is a club legend and is still talked about to this day around the arena.

"The response from the supporters on Saturday was outstanding and on behalf of the club, I'd like to thank everyone who dug deep for Craig and his family."
