Attention now turns to the visit of old rivals Cardiff Devils to the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (7pm face-off).

It's the second meeting between the two sides in three weeks after Panthers skated to a 3-2 victory in-front of over 6,000 people at the Motorpoint Arena earlier this month.

Sam Herr was on target twice, while there was also a goal for Tim Doherty, as Panthers secured two vital points in the Challenge Cup.
