COVENTRY AGAINST PANTHERS PART TWO

The Nottingham Panthers travel to the Skydome Arena for more pre-season action this evening as they face Coventry Blaze for the second time this weekend (5:30pm face-off).

The two sides meet for the second time in under 24 hours after Panthers stormed to a 4-0 win last night at the Motorpoint Arena to win the Aladdin Cup.

Carl Neill, Jordan Kelsall, Otto Nieminen and Logan Neilson were on target, while Rok Stojanovic secured a 15-shot shutout.

Head Coach, Jonathan Paredes, said: "We talk about creating an identity and we just need to keep putting that into action.

"Day by day, game by game, we just need to focus on the next game. For sure, we have a long-term plan as coaches.

"But, for now, we are showing the players what we want from them and the process we want to try and be successful."

Panthers will be without Stephen Anderson who is in North America for family commitments, but he'll return next week ahead of the regular season.

Zaine McKenzie, who played last night for Telford Tigers, will come into the line-up this evening.
