The Nottingham Panthers are straight back into action this evening as Coventry Blaze visit the Motorpoint Arena in the Premier Sports Elite League (7pm face-off).

The two sides have met twice already this season - both in the Skydome - with Panthers winning in pre-season and the Blaze taking the points in the league last week.

Panthers won a thriller last Saturday at home to Guildford Flames, turning around a one-goal deficit with 69 seconds remaining into a 4-3 overtime victory.

There'll be another large Saturday night crowd tonight and Panthers Head Coach Gary Graham knows the supporters' backing can be huge for his side.

"The fans were awesome on opening night," said Graham. "We know we need to put on a good show for them.

"We talked about it in our meeting on Tuesday about how big it was for us to reward a good home crowd.

"We had a great momentum swing and it was great to get the goal on the first shift in overtime.

"I've had great feedback from the fans and they've talked to me when they've seen me around town.

"It's exciting when you can reward the fanbase but we know we have to be better."

Welcome to our guests this evening
Tonight's match is a community game in association with The Skinny Food Co.

We'd like to welcome our special guests from The Renewal Trust and our charity of the month for September, Nottinghamshire Search and Rescue Teams.
