The Nottingham Panthers now turn their attentions to next weekend's action with matches in both the Premier Sports Challenge Cup and Elite League.

Panthers travel to Altrincham to face Manchester Storm on Friday night in the cup, before returning home to host Coventry Blaze at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday in the league (7pm face-off).

Nottingham will assess the fitness of defenceman Mike Caruso in the coming days - he had to sit out the weekend action with a minor injury.

The Storm and the Blaze were involved in a nine-goal thriller on Saturday night, with Coventry winning 5-4 in Altrincham thanks to an overtime winner from John Curran.

Manchester found it tough going on-the-road in Cardiff last night and were beaten 8-1 as Cole Sanford scored a hat-trick for the hosts.
