DEVILS AT HOME IN THE CUP ON SATURDAY

Nottingham Panthers are back in home action on Saturday (12th October) as Cardiff Devils visit the Motorpoint Arena (7pm).

The game - which is sponsored by NG Chartered Surveyors - is Challenge Cup action with both sides battling it out to qualify for the knockout stages.

Panthers have 11 points from seven matches and currently sit top of the group.

Cardiff have only played three matches in the cup so far and have five points which includes two wins.

The Devils are coached by Great Britain Head Coach Peter Russell and have a number of ex-Panthers players in their line-up, including Ben Bowns, Mark Richardson, Evan Mosey and Brett Perlini.

Panthers go into the game on the back of a superb 5-1 victory over Fife Flyers at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday in-front of a crowd of over 5,500 people.

Ollie Betteridge, Kristoff Kontos, Sam Herr, Hugo Roy and Tim Doherty were all on target as Panthers secured victory in their first home Elite League game of the season.
