Swedish forward Didrik Henbrant has returned to the Nottingham Panthers for the 2024-25 campaign.
The 26-year-old scored 13 goals and contributed 27 assists for 40 points in his first full professional season.
Henbrant netted a number of highlight-reel goals as he lit-up the Elite League with his speed and skill.
"I am super excited to be back," said Henbrant. "I have never experienced support like we did last season. It was truly amazing.
"The support we had and the love the fans showed, I am really grateful and I can't wait to feel that again.
"I felt we were better than the results showed last year and it's great that a core of players are coming back for the new season.
"We want to win. We have a good culture here and I want to help bring trophies for the fans."
Henbrant made his professional debut in 2016-17 in the SHL - the top league in Sweden - for Linköping HC after coming through their junior system.
Prior to joining the Panthers, he spent four years playing in the highly-rated NCAA - the top level of college hockey in North America.
"I feel I developed a lot as a player last season," continued Henbrant. "I had a good development in college and felt prepared to become a pro.
"I learnt a lot off Mike Caruso and the older players on the team. They showed the way in how to act. I loved my first season and I just can't wait for the season to start."
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Didrik is another great re-signing for the club. He came in as a rookie last season and was very productive in his first year.
"His skating is elite and he works as hard off the puck as he does on it.
"It’s another great piece in a returning core that brings some continuity to the line-up, but also fits into what we want to be as a team."

The best-value way to watch the Panthers is with a season ticket - which offers superb value for money - and will once again cover 26 home Elite League games next season. The 27th home Elite League game not on the season ticket will once again be a heavily discounted midweek game following the successful sold-out £9 game against Guildford in March.
Meanwhile, new from next season, the all-in season will cover every single Panthers home game. This includes all 27 Elite League regular-season games, all five Challenge Cup home group games as well any subsequent home ties in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, a potential home playoff quarter-final and the three home pre-season matches played by the Panthers.
The season ticket application window will close to all fans on Sunday 30th June.
