The Nottingham Panthers Head Coach Jonathan Paredes chats to Panthers TV on the eve of his first two games in charge of the club.
There's back-to-back games this weekend as Panthers face arch-rivals Sheffield Steelers to kickstart their pre-season action.
"Just like the guys, I can't wait for tomorrow and Sunday to play our first games," said Paredes.
"The camp has been a process with how we have worked with the guys. They've been good and worked hard for sure.
"They will work harder in the coming weeks too as it's only really a week together so far on the ice.
"They work together which is something that is very important. We are working hard on our systems and our intensity.
"We have worked on high tempo, high speed and their battle. What I have seen so far is really good."
It's finally gameday tomorrow as Panthers take to the road to face Sheffield Steelers in pre-season action (7pm face-off).
The two sides also go head-to-head in the GM the GM Memorial Cup in Nottingham on Sunday (4pm face-off) - a game sponsored by McDonald's.
