It's game day for The Nottingham Panthers as Sheffield Steelers visit the Motorpoint Arena.

The two sides go head-to-head this afternoon in the Premier Sports Challenge Cup (4pm face-off).

Panthers Head Coach, Gary Graham, said: "Sheffield are playing good hockey right now.

"We saw them at the beginning of training camp and obviously you want to trend better every week, that's what you're trying to do.

"Sheffield have been doing that this season but we haven't, although I thought we played well against them in pre-season."

Team News
Panthers will be without defenceman Mike Caruso who is set to miss around the next three to four weeks because of injury.

The Steelers will be without injured netminder Oskar Östlund.

Extra time for your journey
The Robin Hood Half Marathon takes place in Nottingham today and there will be road closures around the city.

You may need extra time for your journey to the rink. Click here to read full details on road closures.
