The Nottingham Panthers begin a two-day roadtrip weekend tonight in Scotland as they face Glasgow Clan in the Viaplay Elite League (7pm face-off).

The Panthers have won on their two previous visits to Glasgow this season, starting off with a dramatic 3-2 penalty-shot victory in mid-October.

Gary Haden and Steve McParland gave Clan a two-goal lead before Mike Hammond reduced the arrears with 30 seconds to go in the second period.

Craig Puffer's superb wraparound drew Panthers level early in the third session and after a scoreless overtime, Nottingham took the extra point in the shootout.

Jack Berry turned away four of Clan's five attempts, while David Levin and Adan Brady beat Muse for superb come-from-behind victory.

In January, Panthers skated to a 3-1 victory as netminder Peyton Jones tasted success on his debut.

Nottingham took the lead when Matthew Myers fed Brett Welychka, while Levin's great pass to the backdoor put Muse out of position and Hammond tapped in a second.

Dyson Stephenson's blast in the top corner reduced the arrears under two minutes later, while Jones made an outstanding save on John Dunbar from close range and then stopped a Steven McParland breakaway.

Myers scored his third short-handed goal of the season with a shot across Muse to seal the victory.
