The Nottingham Panthers play their first Friday night game of the season as Dundee Stars visit the Motorpoint Arena in the Premier Sports Elite League (7:30pm face-off).

It's the first meeting between the two sides this season and Panthers come into the game on the back of last Sunday's thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup.

Dundee were beaten twice by Belfast last weekend in the cup, as a narrow 5-4 overtime defeat in Northern Ireland was followed by a 4-1 home loss.

Panthers Head Coach, Gary Graham, said: "Dundee are young, hungry and energetic. They have a lot of speed and cause a lot of turnovers.

"They've got some guys that are really going and are really hot right now.

"They're dynamic and fast and we've just got to make sure defensively we are aware of them."

Team News
Panthers will be without injured defenceman Mike Caruso, but forwards Tanner Sorenson and Luke Ferrara are set to return to the line-up.

Forward David Levin is set to make his debut after signing for the Panthers this week.
