GAMEDAY PREVIEW: PANTHERS IN GUILDFORD FOR SECOND LEG

GAMEDAY PREVIEW: PANTHERS IN GUILDFORD FOR SECOND LEG Top Image

It's a huge day of hockey as The Nottingham Panthers go to The Spectrum to face Guildford Flames in the second leg of the playoff quarter-finals.

Panthers lead 4-1 from last night's first leg at the Motorpoint Arena thanks to goals from Stephen Anderson, Adam Brady, Tanner Sorenson and David Levin.

Head Coach, Corey Neilson, said: "Guildford methodically worked through our trap much better in the third period, so that's something we'll look at.

"We know they will come out hard and we need to have the same compete level as we showed in this first leg.

"They certainly have the confidence after what happened and if they can do the same again for 60 minutes, it can put us where we need to be."

Forward Luke Ferrara is not available for selection after being ruled out for the rest of the season last week.

Mike Caruso (upper body) will miss out again and the Panthers will name their gameday roster ahead of face-off.
