GAMEDAY PREVIEW: PART ONE OF BELFAST DOUBLE-HEADER

The Nottingham Panthers play part one of their Belfast double-header this evening in the Viaplay Elite League at the SSE Arena (7pm face-off).

It's the first of two meetings in 24 hours with the two sides also going head-to-head tomorrow (7pm).

Assistant Coach, Rick Strachan, said: "Belfast are a complete team. Good defence, good goalies and guys who can put the puck in the net on a regular basis.

"They're a solid hockey team, they're fast, they can play physical and they don't really have any weaknesses.

"In the past six weeks, our team play in the defensive zone has improved 100 per cent.

"There's still things to work on like transition and special teams, but we are going in the right direction."
