Nottingham Panthers have a road trip to Scotland today to face Fife Flyers in the Elite League (5:15pm face-off).
It's the second meeting between the two sides in Kirkcaldy this season after Panthers won 4-3 back in early November following penalty-shots.
Hugo Roy, Otto Nieminen and Logan Neilson netted in regulation-time in an end-to-end exciting game.
Roy scored in the shootout with Panthers netminder Ryan Bednard saving all five efforts from the Flyers.
Both sides had exciting comebacks last night with Panthers scoring twice in the final five minutes to beat Coventry Blaze 2-1 at the Motorpoint Arena.
Fife were 4-1 down on the road at Manchester Storm early in the third period, but stormed back to win 5-4 in Altrincham.
Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Last weekend was the first time they (Fife) got back to as near as full-strength as possible.
"We have been scouting their games and they are showing a lot of fight and energy.
"I think we will see a Fife team that will get back to being competitive. We have to be ready as it won't be an easy night."
