GEARING UP FOR HUGE CUP SEMI-FINAL

Nottingham Panthers are gearing up for the huge first leg of the two-legged Challenge Cup semi-final with Belfast Giants.

The Panthers will skate at the Motorpoint Arena this morning before flying to Northern Ireland this afternoon ahead of the big game.

Panthers are eight-time Challenge Cup winners and this is our 17th semi-final in the history of the Elite League.

The second leg takes place in Nottingham on Wednesday 26th February (7:30pm) and tickets are on sale now.

They start from as little as £9 for adults and can be purchased by clicking here.

There's little between the two sides this season with two wins each in league action so far and it's going to be a thrilling semi-final between two of the top teams in the country.

In the other semi-final, Sheffield Steelers lead Cardiff Devils 5-3 from the first leg with the second leg taking place in Wales tomorrow night.

The winners of the two semi-finals will meet in a one-off final next month.
