GREAT NIGHT AT THE Q&A IN SALTBOX

Nearly 200 people packed into Saltbox last night for the Q&A with Head Coach Danny Stewart and CEO Omar Pacha.

Thank to everyone who attended and for the excellent variety of questions throughout the night.

The evening began with both Danny and Omar answering questions submitted in advance, which mostly centered around this year's roster.

They revealed they were very happy with how the roster was shaping-up and that more new signings were close to being announced.

To the relief of the audience, they confirmed the club will be signing netminders this season and said announcements on this front would be coming soon to put an end to the most-asked question on social media.

After a short interval, part two was focused on memories and funny stories.

Omar and Danny told a story about an Omar meltdown in the Skydome when he was coach of Dundee Stars.

Danny had some great tales to tell of his time with Danbury Trashers in North America.

They both talked about how they got the hockey bug as a kid and how they first came to the UK as players.

Danny recounted his battles as a Blaze player against the Panthers including his tussles with Bruce Richardson.

He also talked about some high and low moments as Newcastle Vipers player-coach against the Panthers.

The night ended with a handful of questions from the floor.
