Nottingham Panthers reached the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup for the 17th time last night with a 5-1 victory over Glasgow Clan at the Motorpoint Arena.

Sam Herr and Cooper Zech scored 38 seconds apart in the first period, while Mitch Fossier was on target in the second session.

Flames visit Nottingham on Friday
Panthers return to action tomorrow (Friday) with the visit of Guildford Flames to the Motorpoint Arena (7:30pm face-off).

The game - which is sponsored by 2Fawcett - is for two vital Elite League points and victory for Panthers would see us move up to third in the standings.
