The Nottingham Panthers forward David Levin says the team need to be switched-on from the first shift with Elite League leaders Guildford Flames visiting the Motorpoint Arena tomorrow night (7:30pm face-off).
The two sides go head-to-head for the second time this season after Panthers came out on top in dramatic fashion on the opening day of the regular season in September.
With netminder Alex Dubeau lifted for the extra skater, Andrew Johnston scored the equaliser with 69 seconds remaining before Mike Hammond netted the game-winner 28 seconds into the extra period as Panthers skated to a 4-3 victory.
Levin said: "It's a very big game for us. Guildford are one of the best teams in the league right now.
"They are very fast and very aggressive. We have to be ready to go from the first shift."
