LINDGREN IN CONVERSATION WITH PANTHERS RADIO

The Nottingham Panthers defenceman Albin Lindgren has spoken with Panthers Radio - in association with Xynomix - after his first few days at the club.

The 27-year-old joined the club last week after spending the first part of this season in Norway.

Lindgren said: "Nottingham looks a good city and the club is a great organisation.

"I spoke with a few guys who had played here before and they spoke well about the club and the city.

"It made my decision more easier to come here."

Lindgren skated with his new team-mates for the first time yesterday and is in contention to make his debut this weekend.

"It was good to get out on the ice with the guys," he said. "I have seen a few clips of the Elite League online.

"This is a new club for me and a new country, but it's going to be fun."

Nottingham are on-the-road at Glasgow Clan on Friday (7:30pm) in the Viaplay Elite League, before returning home to host Belfast Giants at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (7pm face-off).
