Nottingham Panthers have re-signed British netminder Luca Sheldon for the 2024-25 season.
The 22-year-old Nottingham-born goalie returns for his third successive season.
Sheldon, who came through the Nottingham Ice Hockey Club junior system, will again be on a two-way deal with NIHL 1 side Nottingham Lions.
Panthers Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Luca is going to come in as our third goalie, but it's still a crucial role for our team.
"It's role where you have to compete in practice and make sure the players can compete as well and we believe he can do that.
"On top of that, he's a great character. People love having him around and he's great for the room."
Sheldon said: "I am really looking forward to coming back. I have been a Panthers fan my whole life and it's still a little surreal.
"I feel like I am improving. I feel sharper and quicker - and I just feel like I am ready to prove myself."
Player sponsorship packages are available for the 2024-25 season. Please contact sarah@panthers.co.uk for further information.
