The Nottingham Panthers beat Glasgow Clan 3-1 at the Braehead Arena in the Viaplay Elite League on Friday night.
Netminder Peyton Jones made his debut as he started between the pipes, while defenceman Albin Lindgren also made his first appearance for the Panthers.
Duggie Lagrone and Craig Moore missed out because of injury, while Alex Dubeau and Jeremy Welsh were the healthy scratches.
Panthers took the lead when Matthew Myers fed Brett Welychka for his 25th goal of the season (4:07).
Lindgren hit the post two minutes later while at the other end, Jones twice saved from Clan forward Mitch Jones as well as making a fine stop to deny Stephen Dixon.
David Levin's great pass to the backdoor put Clan netminder John Muse out of position and Mike Hammond tapped in Nottingham's second (21:11)
Dyson Stephenson's blast in the top corner reduced the arrears under two minutes later (22:59) before Panthers hit the post again through Adam Brady.
Muse denied Craig Puffer and Kelly Summers as Panthers headed to the second intermission still with a one-goal advantage.
Jones made an outstanding save on John Dunbar from close range and then stopped a Steven McParland breakaway.
Myers scored his third short-handed goal of the season with a shot across Muse (57:03) to seal the victory.
The Panthers are back in action tomorrow as Belfast Giants visit the Motorpoint Arena (7pm face-off) and it's Pride Night in Nottingham.
