The Nottingham Panthers forward David Levin has credited his team-mates after his wonder goal in the 3-1 victory over Cardiff Devils on Saturday night.
Levin scored an outrageous goal as he went backhand through his own legs into the top corner to put the seal on the vital Elite League win at the Motorpoint Arena.
After Jordan Kelsall and Niko Lathtinen had put Panthers into a 2-1 lead, Jakub Izacky grabbed an assist on his debut to set-up Levin for a goal of the season contender.
"It was a great play by Jakub," said Levin. "We had a great breakout. I had a chance to make a nice play and that's why I came here - to show the fans some skill.
"I like to play a skilled game and I practice things like that during the summer. It was great I had the opportunity to do that and it went in.
"I have to thank my team-mates. Jakub made the nice pass to me and I put the puck in the net."
Panthers return to action this afternoon with Dundee Stars visiting the Motorpoint Arena (4pm face-off).
