Netminder Rok Stojanovic has returned to the Nottingham Panthers on a two-month contract.

The 34-year-old played 45 times in the regular season for the Panthers in 2023-24, securing two shutouts.

Stojanovic - a Slovenian international - iced for Sheffield Steelers in the 2021-22 campaign and has extensive experience across Europe.

He won championships in Slovenia in 2017 and France in 2018 and led Polish side Krakow to the regular-season title in 2022-23.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Adding Rok for the short term gives us that depth we had planned to have during the summer.

"It gives us another goalie that can give us a chance to win every night.

"He played well last season under tough circumstances and has a great reputation throughout the club."

Stojanovic said: "I am excited to be coming back to the Panthers.

"I was treated so well by the fans last season and Nottingham is a special place to play.

"I am looking forward to seeing everyone and being part of this team."
