NIEMINEN EXCITED TO HEAR HIS GOAL SONG

Nottingham Panthers forward Otto Nieminen spoke to Panthers TV about the thrill of beating Cardiff Devils on Sunday in a huge game at the Motorpoint Arena.
Nieminen netted his fifth goal of the season - but his first at home - in the 3-1 win against the Elite League leaders.
"I have been waiting to hear that (goal) song after I score," said Nieminen. "It has been a while.
"It felt good. It wasn't really a nice one but who cares?"
Panthers have taken 11 points out of a possible 12 and are now four points behind second-placed Guildford with a game in hand.
"We can enjoy it but we need to keep working and keep at this pace," continued Nieminen.
"The guys are in good shape and we are playing with full heart - and it's working for us at the moment."

Saturday: Adam Johnson Jersey Retirement - Panthers v Fife
Panthers host Fife Flyers on Saturday in the Elite League on what is sure to be a special and emotional occasion at the Motorpoint Arena as we retire the jersey of Adam Johnson.
The ceremony gets under way at 6:30pm where we will be honoured to be joined by members of Adam's family, as well as last season's Head Coach Jonathan Paredes.
This will be a very special occasion as we come together to remember Adam and his contribution not just for ice hockey across the world, but who he was as a person and the positive impact he had on so many people he met.
We advise supporters to allow extra time for their journey on the night as the roads around Nottingham will be busy with Forest hosting Aston Villa (5:30pm kick-off).

6:30pm - Retirement Ceremony followed by warm-up
7:30pm - Face-off
The game - which is sponsored by Hands on Health - is another big night for the Panthers following a recent run of nine points out of a possible ten.
