PANTHERS AGAINST GIANTS IN CUP SEMI-FINALS

Nottingham Panthers will face Belfast Giants in a two-legged Challenge Cup semi-final next month.

As top seeds after the group stages, the Giants were able to select their opponents and chose a match-up with the Panthers.

The first leg will take place in Northern Ireland on Wednesday 12th February (7pm face-off), with the second leg in Nottingham on Wednesday 26th February (7:30pm).

Ticket prices for the game at the Motorpoint Arena will be announced shortly. This game is included in the all-in season ticket.

The other semi-final will see Sheffield Steelers face Cardiff Devils.

The two winning teams from the semi-finals will contest the one-off final in March. The highest seed remaining has the option of hosting the final.

Panthers booked their place in the last four with last night's impressive 5-1 victory over Glasgow Clan in the Elimination Game.

Sam Herr and Cooper Zech scored 38 seconds apart in the first period, while Mitch Fossier was on target in the second session.

Matt Alfaro and Hugo Roy netted in the third period to wrap-up a comprehensive victory for Danny Stewart's side.

Elite League action tomorrow (Friday)
The Panthers are in Elite League action tomorrow (Friday) with the visit of Guildford Flames to the Motorpoint Arena (7:30pm face-off).
