PANTHERS FACE STEELERS IN THIRD v FOURTH-PLACED GAME

The Nottingham Panthers face Sheffield Steelers in the third v fourth-placed game this afternoon at the Elite League playoff finals weekend at the Motorpoint Arena (1pm face-off).

The Panthers were beaten by Elite League and Challenge Cup winners Belfast Giants in yesterday's semi-final, with Jack Hopkins, Stephen Anderson and Jakub Izacky on target in the 6-3 defeat.

The Steelers led 2-0 against Cardiff but the Devils came back to win the second semi-final 3-2 after overtime.

This afternoon's game will be Head Coach Corey Neilson's last game in charge before taking up a coaching role in Europe next season.

Giants and Devils will contest the Grand Final at 5pm live on Viaplay with Aaron Murphy and former Panthers player and coach Paul Adey.
