The Nottingham Panthers are on-the-road for Corey Neilson's first game back in charge as Head Coach with a trip to Sheffield Steelers in the Elite League (7pm face-off).

Neilson took training for the first time yesterday after flying in from the USA on Thursday lunchtime.

"We've covered a lot of ground in a short space of time," said Neilson.

"It was really good to see the players' pretty good attention to detail. I saw some good amount of skill from the forwards and was encouraged about that.

"I have been impressed with what I have seen from Sheffield in video. They have some skilled guys off the rush.

"Discipline is always a key factor in these games. You need to find a way to be smart and stay out the penalty box.

"I really want this next little bit to get everyone invested into a job and a role. I want them all to feel part of the solution as well."

Team News
Defenceman Craig Moore, who took a puck to the face in last Friday's home game with Guildford, is unavailable (week-to-week).

The Panthers also expect to be without netminder Alex Dubeau (week-to-week) who has an upper body injury.
