It's a big evening of action for Nottingham Panthers with a trip to arch-rivals Sheffield Steelers in the Elite League (7pm face-off).

The Panthers go into the game on the back of two big wins last weekend at the Motorpoint Arena.

Last Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory against Belfast Giants was followed by Sunday's 4-1 win over Manchester Storm.

The Steelers are currently fourth in the table with 18 points in 12 matches and were beaten 6-3 on the road at Cardiff Devils in midweek.

Panthers Assistant Coach, Linton Grant, said: "All the games we've played against Sheffield we have been super close.

"In reality it's been a mistake here or a mistake there that has ended up costing us.

"We have elevated our game against the best teams this season but I think last time in Sheffield we got up 3-1 and just rested back too much.

"If we can keep playing like we did last weekend, I think we can be in for a good result."
