The Nottingham Panthers have signed Finnish forward Niko Lahtinen.
The 26-year-old has played much of his career in Finland, with four seasons in the second-tier Mestis league.
He scored over 150 points in stints with LeKi, RoKi and and Koovee.
Lahtinen has spent the past two seasons in the Alps Hockey League with Steel Wings Linz.
"I heard a lot of positive things about the Panthers and the organisation," said Lahtinen.
"There's a lot of hockey still to play this season and when I heard they were interested I jumped right on it.
"It's a good league and a good chance to prove myself at a higher level."
Head Coach, Corey Neilson, said: "Niko will be an excellent addition to the line-up. He add great speed to the line-up and a high work ethic.
"He competes hard and he sees this as a huge opportunity to showcase himself."
Lahtinen will wear #48 for the Panthers.
