The Nottingham Panthers have signed Swedish defenceman Albin Lindgren.
The 27-year-old spent the first part of this season with Stjeren Hockey in the top flight in Norway.
The right-handed blueliner played junior hockey and the first part of his professional career in Sweden.
He's also had spells in Denmark and with Italian side Fassa in the Alps Hockey League, as well as a previous stint in Norway.
Panthers Head Coach, Corey Neilson, said: "Albin is a fast-skating puck-moving defenceman.
"He has a great shot and he's a guy we feel can really help with our transition game that has been lacking.
"He's an excellent addition to the roster and will certainly make our team better."
Lindgren will wear the #67 shirt for the Panthers and is expected to make his debut next weekend on-the-road at Glasgow Clan on Friday 20th January and at home to Belfast Giants on Saturday 21st January.
