Nottingham Panthers are back on the road this evening with a trip to Altrincham to face Manchester Storm (7:30pm face-off).

It's the first of two games this weekend for the Panthers with the visit to the Motorpoint Arena of German DEL2 side Lausitzer Füchse in the GM the GM Memorial Trophy on Sunday (4pm). The game is sponsored by 2Fawcett.

Tonight's trip to face Manchester is Nottingham's second away game of pre-season after last Monday's trip to Sheffield.

Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Altrincham is a tough rink to play in and I think it's really good we are going there in pre-season.

"You go into that building and it forces you to play the right way. It forces you to compete and it forces you into puck battles.

"We have an early cup game against them in a couple of weeks, so it gives guys a taste of what it's like to go in there."

The pair are away with Great Britain at the Olympic Qualifiers in Aalborg and were part of the side that produced a battling performance on Thursday night before losing 3-1 to the world's 11th ranked team Denmark.

Netminder Rok Stojanovic, who returned to the club this week on a short-term two-month deal, is available for selection to the 20-player gameday roster.
