PANTHERS VISIT VICTORIA CENTRE GLOW ROOM
Some of The Nottingham Panthers players took a trip to the Victoria Centre's Glow Room this week and got into the Christmas spirit.
Adam Brady, Luke Ferrara, Tanner Sorenson and Kelly Summers paid a visit to the free light installation situated on the upper mall, which treats visitors to a visual light performance featuring over 30,000 hanging lights, accompanied by Christmas songs.
Nigel Wheatley, Centre Director at Victoria Centre, said: “It’s been fantastic to see the Glow Room get off to such a strong start and even better to top it off with a visit from the Nottingham Panthers team.
"The sensory-friendly experience meant they had the chance to let off some steam before kicking-off their remaining few fixtures ahead of the new year.
“I’m also blown away with the support we’ve seen from shoppers already.
"Last year’s Glow Room helped to raise over £5,000 for our chosen charity, so I’m excited to see if we can beat that target this year – despite it being challenging times for us all.
"It’s humbling to see the people of Nottingham being as generous as always."
The Glow Room is open until 2nd January 2023 and is free-to-attend with voluntary donations encouraged.
Performance times vary, with visitors being advised to pre-book via the Victoria Centre website.
