PAWS THE SPECIAL GUEST AT RENEWAL TRUST SKATE

Paws was the guest of honour at a very special skate at the National Ice Centre today with The Renewal Trust.

The Nottingham Panthers and The Renewal Trust have been working together in the community for over four years - and both partners have a long-standing relationship with the National Ice Centre.

Families from across Nottingham took to the ice and had a lot of fun, with Paws alongside them to give them a helping hand.

The Renewal Trust are a Nottingham-based charity which nurtures happier, healthier and more connected local communities.

They use their knowledge and expertise across the city and explore opportunities and unlock potential through employability, wellbeing, places and spaces, community activities and grants.

The Renewal Trust work closely with local communities to offer inclusive and accessible opportunities - and were part of the Sport in the Community event at the Motorpoint Arena yesterday.

They were joined by the Mansfield Town Community Trust, Notts County Foundation, Nottingham Forest Community Trust, Notts Recreational Cricket and staff from the National Ice Centre.

The Sport in the Community event received so many visitors throughout the afternoon of our game with Glasgow Clan, which included giveaways from the Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre.
