There's a very special guest on Panthers TV as we build-up towards Saturday's opening game of the season against top Canadian university side UQTR.

Saturday's game at the Motorpoint Arena (7pm face-off) - which is sponsored by Karen Burgin Ltd - celebrates 25 years since our move to the National Ice Centre/Motorpoint Arena.

Classy forward PC Drouin played on the team during the arena's inaugural season in the old Superleague.

He spent two years with the Panthers from 2000 to 2002 and also returned for part of the 2007-08 Elite League campaign.

A prolific goalscorer - which an unstoppable penalty shot - Drouin iced for Boston Bruins in the NHL earlier in his career.

He also played in the AHL and the top league in Finland and was a fans' favourite during his time in Nottingham.

Some of the memories Drouin talks about in a feature-length 30-minute interview include...

- Playing for Boston in the NHL
- Coming to the UK to play for Bracknell and playing with current Cardiff MD Todd Kelman
- The new arena attracting him to join the Panthers
- Playing in the famous bench clearance brawl against Sheffield Steelers
- Nordmark's winner in Newcastle with 4.4 seconds remaining to seal Panthers a playoff spot
- Forming a formidable trio with David Struch and Ashley Tait
- Playing on the same team as Jimmy Paek who won the Stanley Cup twice as a player
- Being a former team-mate of current Panthers coach Danny Stewart
