The Nottingham Panthers have quite a track record of being involved in thrilling playoff quarter-finals and some of them have been breathtaking come-from-behind victories.
One of the most famous came in the 2011-12 season in a two-legged with Braehead Clan who of course are now called Glasgow Clan.
The Clan scored three third-period goals in the first leg through former Panther Jade Galbraith, as well as Lee Mitchell and Mike Wirll.
Despite having 43 shots on goal, the Panthers left Scotland with a 3-0 deficit and needed something special in the second leg in Nottingham.
Jordan Fox scored inside eight minutes before David-Alexandre Beauregard made it 2-0 on the night and Clan's lead was wiped out when Fox scored his second early in period two.
Sami Ryhanen sent the arena wild when he put Panthers ahead for the first time in the tie at 47:37, but there was to be a twist in the tale.
Galbraith, back on the ice where he spent three years adored by the Nottingham fans, drew Clan level on aggregate.
The game went to overtime and it needed a hero. Step forward Brandon Benedict, the heartbeat of the Panthers, who scored the game-winner at 61:20.
Nottingham went forward to finals weekend and demolished Hull Stingrays 10-3 in the semi-finals led by a hat-trick from David Clarke.
Panthers lifted the playoff trophy the following day with a 2-0 victory over Cardiff Devils, as Beauregard scored at the midway point of the third period and Clarke sealed the win with an empty net goal.
Playoff hockey, you just can't beat it and you can be part of the action this weekend.
